Why Perio Plus+?

How to reduce discolouration when using Chlorhexidine

CHX can result in discolouration of the teeth. Perio Plus+ can also cause this discolouration, but when it is used properly, discolouration is minimised. Furthermore, it is reversible – your dentist can remove any discolouration following treatment without any problems.

During treatment with Perio Plus+, avoid consuming products containing tannin, such as tobacco, coffee, black and green tea, red wine, berries, curry and saffron, as they can attach to the CHX layer causing discolouration. Avoiding these types of products will keep discolouration to a minimum.
